The answer to the question that serves as the title of Vishnevsky's article – "Where to look for a neo-Nazi?" – can be found in two articles published by the Russian information agency Novosti, that is, texts written under special data control of the Kremlin. One of them, signed by Timofey Sergeitsev, shows his colonialist vocation right from the title: "What Russia should do with Ukraine." The text is long, so I will limit myself to quoting a few sentences without taking them out of context: «Ukraine has been defined as a Nazi society Denazification is essential when an important part of the people – most likely the majority –it has been captured and dragged into its politics by the Nazi regime.
That is, when the hypothesis 'the people are good, the authorities are bad' does not work”. That is to say that all Ukraine is Nazi. Denazification is a set of measures relating to the Nazi mass of the population, which technicallycannot be punished directly as a war criminal." In other words, for technical reasons alone the "majority of the people" cannot be destroyed. "De-Nazification will inevitably also be de-Nazification." The goal is to deprive Ukrainians of their culture, their feelings, their identity. But we must go further: "denazification will inevitably lead to de-Europeanization.
